Background information on the selection process
The Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Serbia announced a public competition for the selection of artworks the for the digital #exhibition of the Council of Europe "Free to Create – Create to be Free" as well as a complimentary national exhibition opening February 27, 2021.
The competition was open from February 27 to March 31, 2021. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Media Ms. Maja Gojković formed a Commission for the selection process.
Commission composed of Mr. Miodrag Danilović (Chair), independent curator; Ms. Mišela Blanusa, Museum Advisor at the Museum of Contemporary Art; Ms. Sanja Kojić Mladenov, Senior Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina; Ms. Delfina Rajić, Museum Advisor and Director of the National Museum in Čačak; Ms. Vesna Latinović, gallery owner and cultural manager; Ms. Miroslava Turković and Dimitrije Tadić, Advisors at the Ministry of Culture and Media.
This Commission selected the two artworks “Trans Balkan” by Aleksandar Crnogorac and “Knez Mihailova 53, Knez Mihailova 53” by Mariela Cvetić.
